Meet Pam – Our Member of the Month for October!

We are so excited to bring you the next edition of our Member of the Month series, where we feature some of the amazing people who are part of our Loyobo FIT family. We think it is important to share their stories to help inspire others and to celebrate their amazing accomplishments!

This month that member is Pam T., who is one our All In Virtual Members and an absolute rockstar!

Our entire team is so impressed with Pam’s dedication and consistency towards her health, fitness and wellness goals and all the progress she has made in her self-love journey over the last year!

This month, PAM, we celebrate YOU! We are so grateful to know you. Thank you for being a part of our family and for sharing your story with us!


How long have you been coming to Loyobo FIT and what initially inspired you to try our community?

I have been a member since Feb 2020. Someone brought me to an info session without telling me till the last moment. That session was informative, inviting and I really got the sense that this was a different kind of gym and a different kind of approach to health and wellness.

What are your top 3 health, fitness and wellness goals?

  1. Incorporate daily movement/exercise into my routine

  2. Love myself and ;

  3. Practice gratitude

What is one of the challenges that you have faced in your health, fitness and wellness journey? What have you found most helpful in working to overcome it?

I always hated working out and my commitment wavered quite a bit. However, Loyobo FIT has made exercising fun for me! I am so grateful for the virtual workouts which are very engaging.

What was your life like before you started at Loyobo FIT? How did you feel about your body?

I struggled to make exercising a consistent part of my life. I felt defeated because I could not do a lot of the movements. At Loyobo FIT, the instructors offer a lot of modifications/options and are constantly telling us to focus on what we can do. Hearing this message has allowed me to give myself credit for even the small steps I take!

What has changed since you joined the Loyobo Family and became a part of our community?

The Loyobo Family consists of people from so many different walks of life and the support and encouragement from other members is awesome. This support has made sticking to my goals so much easier and fun!

What is your favorite memory or achievement of your time at Loyobo FIT?

The 80’s Zumba party was awesome. I love it when not only do I have to show up for a class but sometimes have to put on my thinking cap to come up with something creative to fit the class theme!

What advice would you give to someone just starting their health, fitness and wellness journey?

TRY the stuff that feels uncomfortable, whether that is movement, mindfulness or interacting with the Loyobo Family.

What is your favourite benefit that comes with being a Loyobo FIT member? (e.g., fitness classes, group coaching call, member social etc.). ?

I look forward to Member Socials – they are fun and entertaining. I also love the Monthly Challenges for that extra bit of motivation.

How would you describe you relationship with food and how has being a part of Loyobo FIT changed it?

As someone who suffers from a binge eating disorder and has been working with professionals, I find that the Loyobo FIT values are reinforcing the education and awareness that I am learning elsewhere.

Anything else you would like to share?

I love that Loyobo FIT has an Energy Exchange Program, Bracelet Rewards for member milestones, a Pay What You Can option for memberships and Live Cooking Classes . There is so much more on offer than just fitness classes!
