"My fitness journey started in 2014 when I decided to try my first Zumba class. For the first time in my life, I found a safe space in the gym. I was having so much fun, I forgot about my insecurities and the fact that I was exercising.
After a few months, the instructor encouraged me to sign up for an instructor training. I decided to take the leap! Since then, my life has been forever changed and I have lost over 45lbs.
I am an ACE certified and insured group fitness instructor, licensed in Zumba and Strong by Zumba. My passion is helping to create the same safe space that helped me find my place in a gym. I want to help men and women to feel strong and see what their bodies are truly capable of. And most of all, I want to help show you how fitness can be fun and a source of self-confidence!"

Jen’s interest in fitness and wellness began in high school when she was inspired to lead a healthier lifestyle after witnessing her mother go through serious complications from heart disease. Jen went on to earn her B.A. at the University of Guelph and Advanced College Diploma in Fitness and Lifestyle Management from George Brown College. She is a certified Personal Trainer with CSEP, certified Group Fitness Leader with Ontario Fitness Council, Spin Instructor and 200 hour Yoga Teacher with Power Yoga Canada.
In her personal time, you can find Jen at the yoga studio practicing or teaching classes, reading books or taking training for personal and professional growth, trail running, road cycling or spending time with friends and family at the cottage.
With a background in professional dance, Katie came to Pilates out of a deep appreciation for the potential of the human body.
For thirteen years, alongside her study of the Pilates method, she was rehearsing and touring across Canada and Europe. In 2007 she suffered a substantial dance-related injury, and experienced, first-hand, the rehabilitative power of Pilates.
This intensified her passion to help others on their own journey towards greater mobility and freedom from chronic physical pain. Now she spends her energy helping people transform their discomfort into pain and feel like themselves again!
Group Fitness Instructor
Lori's passion for optimizing health and wellness through nutrition, physical fitness and achieving a positive mindset stems from a desire to be proactive and demonstrate that we CAN thrive as we age! Lori strives to support individuals of ALL abilities to be the best versions of themselves and also specializes in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
Being a bit of a spark plug, Lori has pursued several educational pathways including: a Diploma in Educational Assistant, Certificate in American Sign Language; and is currently studying to achieve her certification as a Nutritional Consultant in 2019; with more certifications to follow! (Clearly she is a lifelong student!)
In her spare time she likes to curl up with her two fur babies, read vegan cookbooks and enjoy a good cup of tea.
