Frequently Asked Questions


Q: Can I just show up for any class or do I have to register ahead of time? 

A: Yes! As long as there are spots available in the class, you may show up without registering ahead of time. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class begins so we can show you around the studio and sign you in. There are instances where our smaller classes do fill up ahead of time, so preregistration is required. You can check the status of each class at or on your MindBody App.

Q: I’m a beginner / new to fitness / returning to fitness / recently recovered from an injury / above the age of 55, can I do these classes?

A: Yes - absolutely! We welcome all fitness levels and are happy to adapt any movement during class to suit your own individual needs. Participants are encouraged to work at their own pace and are given different intensity options for each exercise. We recommend speaking with the instructor ahead of time if you have any special needs so they can ensure you have the best workout possible!

Q: Do I have to bring any equipment? 

A: No - just your lovely self. All equipment is provided, however, if you would like to bring your own yoga mat - that is encouraged. 

Q: Is this a co-ed gym?

A: Yes! We welcome both men and women of all ages/fitness levels. So bring your mother, sister, wife, girlfriend, daughter, son, brother, husband, father, boyfriend and more!

Q: What forms of payment do you accept? 

A: Cash, Debit, Visa, Mastercard, or e-transfers are accepted.


Q: What is your refund or cancellation policy for classes and appointments? 

A: All purchases are final sale, no exchanges or refunds.

Early registrations for a class must be cancelled at least 6 hours in advance of the class start time. Personal training or coaching sessions must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance. 

For 10 class pass holders, Feel the Love and Move Your Body members, this means that the class will still be debited from your pass or monthly session count and for no shows, an additional $5 fee will be charged.

Members with unlimited pass options or VIP memberships will be charged a $15 fee for no-shows and a $10 fee for late cancellations.

HST applies to all fees.

No refunds will be issued for any cancellations made after the minimum cancellation times. Exceptions will be made for extenuating circumstances on a case by case basis. You must contact us within 24 hours of the class or appointment time to request an exception and we may ask you to provide documentation.  

There are certain situations that may require an instructor to cancel a class or training/coaching session. We will try to provide as much notice as possible in these instances. Any members pre-registered for the class or scheduled for a training/coaching session will be notified by email of the cancellation. Cancellations will also be posted online and on our social media pages. Any charges will be credited back to the member's account. 

Q: What about membership cancellations?

A: All of our monthly memberships have a 30 day cancellation policy. Any cancellations will take effect 30 days from the date a member provides notice to cancel, either in writing or in person at the studio. If a membership payment occurs during the 30 days, the member is still responsible for payment, but this also means that they can continue to attend classes until that month ends.

Q: Is there any option to “pause” a monthly membership option if I need to?

A: Yes! You can pause your membership due to illness, vacation or personal reasons as long as you notify us before your next payment. You can pause it for up to 3 months in any calendar year. There is administrative fee of $10+tax/month to pause.

Q: What happens to outdoor classes during bad weather? 

A: We work hard, rain or shine. Outdoor Bootcamp Classes run during light rain. In cases of unsafe conditions or severe weather, we may either cancel the class or move indoors to our studio. The instructor will provide as much notice as possible (usually at least 60 minutes prior to class start time) and contact any preregistered participants, as well as posting on social media and in our Loyobo FIT Facebook Group. If the instructor does not cancel or moves the class indoors, no refunds will be offered to clients who choose not to participate due to weather conditions or relocation of a class.


Q: Where are you located? 

A: We are at the corner of Victoria Rd S and York Rd. You can enter and use the parking lot either at the front of the building (199 Victoria Rd S) or behind the building (490 York Rd).

Our outdoor classes meet at Exhibition Park, near the children's playground and across from the wading pool/splashpad. We are in the green open space closer to London Rd W. Look for our Loyobo FIT sign!
