We recognize that a huge part of feeling amazing and learning to love your body has nothing to do with food or exercise. The most important thing that you can do to be successful is shift your mindset.

This class is a monthly coaching drop-in session that will allow participants to work through issues or struggles that they may be facing with the help of a Loyobo coach. We will discuss strategies of behaviour change, how to build healthy habits, and complete activities that can help break through barriers or limitations that are holding us back.

This class is your opportunity to get help, support, and develop strategies to help you succeed in your health and fitness journey!


FRIDAY HAPPY HOUR-80’S/90’S zUMBA PARTY

Join us for a night of socializing with our community and playing some fun board games! Celebrate the start of the long weekend with our Loyobo Family.

This is a free event for Feel the Love, Move Your Body and VIP members.

nutritional coaching drop-in

This monthly class is led by Lori McConnell, our in-house nutritional consultant. It is your opportunity to get help on all things related to your diet and food!

We will chat about different topics, you will have opportunities to ask questions, and receive small group nutritional support.


BASELINE WORKOUT
AUGUST 7, 2019 5:00-6:00 pm

For this special edition of our Wednesday evening 5pm Body Sculpt Class, we will be doing a baseline workout!

A baseline workout is used to help track your progress. We complete certain basic and core exercises, recording the weight and number of repetitions completed in a 60 second time frame.

It is a great way to help you set goals to increase your strength and see how your works are making a difference in your body!

In addition, we have had requests to help you and provide a safe space to take progress pictures. So, we will be offering that in the studio before class from 4:30pm-5:00pm.

PLEASE NOTE: Preregistration is required for this class!

Class is included for members and $15 drop-in for non-members.

Afro-Tribal Dance is a dance company centered around the techniques and teachings of Traditional and modern dance styles from Africa especially West Africa. We encourage the dancer’s natural body movement while teaching them essential African dance techniques. Students will learn different African dance moves and incorporate these moves to express a story. Participants will need to bring a donation (monetary or item) to this class.

Square up for this fun and engaging introduction to a real cardio work-out set to music. A team sport, modern square dancing ticks so many boxes for all-round good health: movement, balance, strength and stamina. It's a mental challenge too, so keeps your brain sharp. You'll sweat. You'll laugh. You'll feel young. No partner or previous dance experience required. If you can walk you can square dance. Anyone claiming to have two left feet is especially welcome!

"Enjoy the beautiful park & some sunshine, while progressing towards your fitness goals. We will utilize the green space and playground at Lyon Park to do cardio and resistance training. We will meet at the studio & have a walking warm up together, followed by a stretch and cool-down walk back to the studio.

Incorporates squad and group training trills, as well as games and friendly competitions! Guaranteed to get your sweat on! "

Together, Embrace Network Guelph and Loyobo FIT are hosting An Afternoon of Love & Learning. This event is meant to bring together a group of local health and wellness professionals and service providers to teach you ways to unwind, take care of yourself, and heal.

The purpose of this event is to encourage members of our community to spend time loving themselves and learning about different methods of self-care.
